Today marks the start of World Breastfeeding Week and I just wanted to make this quick post to announce that I have proudly been nursing my second son for well over two years now! We are fast approaching a stop as the new baby is making way, but these past two years of nursing has brought me great pride in my mothering journey. I was unable to nurse my first son due to some medical reasons and had a very rough start with my second son, but after three weeks of hard work, it finally paid off and we are just now coming to an end. I am so happy to have had this experience and look forward to all of the joys that nursing brings with my third son. Happy World Breastfeeding Week!!

Such cute gnomes above! I have been nursing my 1st born for 2 years 4 months (she was born Apr 5th, 2010) and have been tandem nursing for a month now!
Thank you! That is so awesome you've been tandem nursing your little ones. I'm not sure If I'll quite make it to that point when our new baby comes, but we'll see. : )
