Recipe : : Baked Rosemary Onion Rings

Today I'd like to share this super yummy recipe with you all.

 (Recipe above from Food Doodles)

I was craving something crunchy to eat today, so what did I do? I went straight to Pinterest of course! (If I'm searching for a certain kind of recipe, that site seems to always have it!)
I decided I'd like to try baked onion rings. I had never made baked onion rings before today, but I had all of the ingredients, including fresh rosemary from my garden! I am SO glad I tried these. With very simple ingredients and a little bit of baking time, this was just the snack I had been looking for. I also served these up with a side of my spicy ketchup. So good! Try this recipe, you will not be disappointed.

My super simple spicy ketchup is simply a mixture of 1/4 cup ketchup, any kind you like and about 1/2 teaspoon of Sriracha Sauce.

Giveaway Time!!

It's giveaway time folks! I'm really excited about this. Since this is my first ever giveaway, I've decided to give more than one of you a chance at winning. This giveaway will run until next Wednesday, givng you one week to enter and plenty of time for you to tell your friends to enter too!
Up for grabs are....

One lucky winner will receive a set of two wool dryer balls! These dryer balls are made of natural, pure cleaned and carded wool for the center and vibrant clean, carded wool for the outer layer. They have gone through a three step process - wet felt-needle felt-and wet felted again - to make sure that each is sturdy and will last a lifetime! (wet felted using unscented Dr. Bronner's soap - each ball measures approx. 8 inches around)

A second lucky winner will receive a boobie beanie! This boobie beanie is perfect for your little one to wear to show your support for breastfeeding mama's everywhere! This hat is crocheted by my own mama and former co-owner of The Indigo Forest, Tammy. The hat is made from acrylic yarn, so it's completely machine washable, but to keep it in better shape, hand washing is recommended. (This hat measures approx. 17.5 inches in circumference.)

A third lucky winner will receive one of my adorable gnomes! This gnome is made with yummy colored wool blend felt, cotton thread, and non-toxic glue. Recommended for ages 4 and older. (This gnome stands approx. 4.5 inches tall)

All you have to do to enter is to leave me a comment here letting me know which item you would most like to win! That's it! I will close comments on Wednesday. I'm going to gather names and let my kids help by pulling names out of a hat! I'll announce the winner on Thursday. Good luck to you all! Don't forget to let everyone know! The more people who enter, the more fun this will be.

Sponsorship Opportunities!

Now let me just say....I am not the most computer savvy person. This whole blogging and shop creating has been a real learning experience for me. Everyday there's always something new and exciting to learn. Most recently, I've been playing around with "sponsorship ads" So far, I only have up three shops on my page : : mine and my incredibly talented parents. I want to expand a little. I know my page doesn't get much traffic now, but I wanted to offer a couple of people the chance for a free ad spot on my blog (I'm thinking two different people every month). If you are interested in advertising on my blog please let me know! The size ad I use at the moment is a 175x175. For those interested, you can contact me through my Etsy shop and I'll get in touch to discuss details. Wishing you all a lovely day!

A New Etsy Feature!

So Etsy has come up with a new feature for it's sellers. It's an "About" page for the shop! I have to say that I am really loving this. I created mine yesterday and I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I love the fact that you get to give a little story about how your shop came to be. I look forward to reading more of these as people get their "about" pages set up. You can find my page here.
